Leading aircraft charter broker, Air Charter Service, retained its title of Cargo Charter Broker of the Year at the glitzy Air Cargo News awards ceremony, held at the Lancaster Hotel in central London last Saturday night [23rd April].
Justin Bowman, Group CEO of ACS, accepted the award at the gala dinner: “Having been awarded the accolade for the past two years, it is almost more pleasing to retain it and win it for the third time in a row. We are very proud and honoured to have received this prestigious award and to achieve such recognition by the panel, and within the industry as a whole.”
This latest prize joins two other top honours that the broker has garnered in the last year after retaining the Charter Broker of the Year trophies at both the ACW World Cargo Awards and the Payload Asia Awards in 2015, the third time in a row for both.
Roger Hailey, Editor of Air Cargo News, added: “Air Charter Service is a worthy winner of this award for its valuable contribution to air cargo in a highly competitive sector. Congratulations”.
In 2015 Air Charter Service arranged more than 10,000 charter contracts and increased overall turnover by 10% to £316 million. The company relaunched its on board courier service and revamped all its websites.
