Oil Spill Clean-up Equipment, Mauritius
Air Charter Service was asked by a freight forwarder to transport specialist clean-up equipment from Greece to Mauritius, where a tanker had begun to leak oil and fuel after running aground on a coral reef at Pointe d'Esny in late July.

We needed to secure several permits in a very short timeframe in order for the charter to go ahead. Our team worked around the clock to ensure the required paperwork was completed as quickly as possible, obtaining a letter of urgency from the Mauritian government to expedite the process. We sourced an Antonov AN-26 on the same day the request came in, which was competitively priced and could easily accommodate the cargo.
