Private jet charter and flights to Vietnam
Vietnam is hot right now. Vietnamese food is up there with some of the best in the world, and in recent years an explosion of top-notch beach hotels has opened up another side to a country already known for its cultural touring holidays. Flying is the best way to get around Vietnam and neighbouring Laos and Cambodia, as journeys can be long and border crossings problematic. Air Charter Service can help you charter a private jet to Vietnam to ensure an exclusive and hassle-free experience from the moment you depart.
A long-time touring favourite, Vietnam sees many travellers working their way down the country from Hanoi in the north to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Saigon) in the south, or vice versa. These are Vietnam’s two main cities and they’re buzzing, loud and chaotic. Motorbikes and scooters dominate the roads, professionals hurry by, and there are goods waiting to be sold at every turn.
Hanoi is Vietnam’s high-octane urban capital, known for its colonial architecture, pretty lake, glitzy malls and traditional water puppet shows. Some of the country’s best street food can be found here, with fresh pho stalls just metres from swanky restaurants. Hanoi is also the gateway to Halong Bay – Vietnam’s picturesque and popular bay where overnight cruises showcase the limestone karsts and islands that rise out of the emerald waters. It’s also easy to reach the mountain town of Sapa, famous for hill tribes, multi-day treks and lush rice terraces, and the Cuc Phuong National Park – a forest reserve that’s host to more than 300 bird species and 2,000 species of plant.
Almost 1,000 miles south of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City is where Vietnam’s wartime history is most evident. Today it’s a thriving city with modern skyscrapers and lively coffee shops sitting alongside traditional markets and pagodas, but Ho Chi Minh’s top attractions remain the Reunification Palace and Cu Chi tunnels, both of which offer a deeper understanding of the Vietnam War. Popular stops between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City include pretty Hoi An with its ornate bridges, colourful lanterns and abundance of tailors; and the temples and royal tombs of historic Hue, which lies along the Perfume River.
In the past few years, Vietnam has also become more prominently known as a beach holiday destination. Its beach resorts can be found in the southern half of the country, starting around Nha Trang – a high-rise coastal town with a sweeping stretch of beach offering plenty of fun watersports and great diving. The beach is beautiful, but by no means quiet. To escape the bustle of Nha Trang, head for Ninh Van Bay – a remote jungle-clad peninsula that’s only accessible by boat and home to the eco-luxe Six Senses Ninh Van Bay hotel. Or, for the ultimate in beach seclusion and spa breaks, fly to the Con Dao archipelago in the far south of Vietnam, where the hideaway resort of Six Senses Con Dao lies in a protected marine reserve and national park.
Vietnam has plenty of airports suitable for a variety of private jets. Its main airports are Hanoi in the north and Ho Chi Minh City in the south – both of which are great starting points to explore the country’s cultural hotspots. From these airports it’s also easy to fly into neighbouring Laos and Cambodia. Simply contact our team and we’ll arrange everything you need to charter a private jet to Vietnam.
