Private jet charter to Amsterdam

Amsterdam has a lot to offer, with different scenes to accommodate a selection of different travelling types. For some, it’s the allure of the winding canals, beautiful architecture, myriad museums and bustling markets that draw them, whilst others are looking for the nightlife, the coffeeshops and to enjoy the other side of this charming city. To experience it for yourself, get a fast quote from Air Charter Service to charter a private jet to Amsterdam.

There’s accommodation to suit any budget in Amsterdam, from trendy hostels all the way up to five star luxury resorts. For those looking for the more, luxurious side to the beautiful city, you’ll find plenty of architecturally stunning hotels located in historic parts of the city, as well as a good mix of chic and contemporary hotels popping up on the trendiest streets. The College Hotel and the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam are two of the former, with classic style and opulent facilities including Michelin starred dining opportunities. For something a little trendier, we recommend the Hotel Okura Amsterdam, which is also home to two Michelin starred venues, or the Faralda Crane Hotel, three luxurious themed suites located high up on an industrial crane.

With such a vibrant culture, you’d expect the dining scene to be similar, and whilst there are plenty of luxurious fine-dining restaurants found within the multitude of five star hotels, there are also some great local classics you simply must try. For those looking for celebrity favourites, La Rive, Ciel Bleu and Yamazato are some of the local hotspots. For local favourites you’ve got to try a snackbar, where you can get oatatje oorlog, chips with a mix of mayo, satay sauce and onions. There are also FEBO vending machines which dispense a multitude of snacks including krokets, which are like crumbed, fried gravy bites. There are also plenty of street vendors, shops and cafes offering stroopwaffles, which taste divine, especially when still warm or warmed up atop a tea or coffee. There are also plenty of places selling pannenkoeken, a thicker version of a French crepe covered in toppings like a pizza and eaten for lunch or dinner.

When it comes to sightseeing and shopping, there’s plenty to do. There an entire district dedicated to museums, and a visit to the Anne Frank Museum is especially poignant. There are also a great selection of markets, selling everything from local produce to vintage clothing and souvenirs. In the centre of town you’ll find the major shopping area with all your classic high street stores. A little further away from the centre you’ll find the Heineken experience where you can find out all about its history and future as well as stock up on any Heineken themed paraphernalia before heading over to the hip Nine Streets or luxurious Oud Zuid. If you want to hire a bike it’s very easy to do so, but do be aware that cyclists in Amsterdam are quick and nimble, if you’re not confident on a bike, you may want to walk instead.
