When the snow has melted away, the region of Verbier, Val de Bagnes and La Tzoumaz offer mountain biking options for every ability level and preference. The wider region offers 213km of enduro trails, predominantly singletrack, and over 500km of marked cross-country forest trails. Prefer to walk? Then Verbier is for you, with over 500km of hiking trails in the region. Combine art with walking on the 3D Sculpture Parc starting from La Chaux, or La Planie, a photographic trail that meanders 4.5km through the pastures from Les Ruinettes to Croix-de-Cœur.
Golfers can follow their passion at Les Desserts or Les Moulins and, for those that like to get a little higher, there's an indoor climbing wall in the Verbier sports centre, a 12-metre-high aerial walkway at Médran, 'Via Ferrata' at Les Gentianes and mountaineering trips can be organised to ascend legends such as Vélan, Dolent and Grand Combin. Verbier's vibrant après-ski scene, once down from the slopes, moves to the Rue de Médran and the Place Centrale, home to a plethora of bars, brasseries and Farinet South, one of three nightclubs in town.
