Located just under seven miles from the city centre, Liverpool John Lennon Airport is built within the grounds of Tudor manor house Speke Hall and since its opening in the 1930s has become one of Europe’s fastest growing airports. The airport features a modern terminal building which replaces the former art deco terminal building, which until 2001, lay derelict before being converted into a hotel.
